A mother, a country, a nation is struggling.
A Dhaka court yesterday placed 22 private university students on a two-day remand in two separate cases filed over vandalism and attacks on police.
But the truth is university students didn't attacked on police first they just wanted to do a peaceful protest for ensuring road safety. Nor the police neither the people injured by the students. But police started attacks in Bashundhara R/A, private universities—NSU and IUB—being specifically targeted. About a hundred policemen—wielding sticks, shotguns and tear gas guns—entered the usually quiet residential area. Tear gas canisters engulfed everything in thick smoke. Tyres burned in the middle of the streets. In between the chaos, a micro bus came out of North South University with three or four students inside—all bleeding from pellet injuries—and sped towards Apollo Hospitals. Moments later, students carrying sticks and brick chips and chanting slogans trying to protest the attack were met with more teargas canisters. The entire incident left around 40 people injured, most of whom were students. Many were treated at Apollo Hospitals.
and end of the day police arrested private universities students because of wanting safe road. No freedom of speech in Bangladesh.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Abdullah Al Masud gave the order after officials of Badda and Bhatara police stations produced the arrestees before the court with seven days' remand prayer.

The arrestees are students of East West University, North South University, South East University and Brac University.
Their lawyers said in the court that the detainees were tortured in police custody. Some of the students were arrested while they were returning home after classes.
